Astrape
The Greek Goddess of lightning
I am dancing high on a mountain.
I waited in anticipation for the thunderstorm to hit.
The rumble rolling nearer.
Flashes of lightning far off in the dark clouds.
I am dancing to the rhythm of my heartbeat.
The might of the Goddess will be unleashed here tonight.
As the storm comes closer, I shiver in awe and anticipation.
The heavens open above me with one blinding bolt of lightning.
The air is charged with her wrath.
The thunder roars with her power.
I am beyond the physical realm now
My spirit bows in supplication to the Universe.
I am overcome with the omniscience of being.
I offer myself willingly and joyfully.
While a myriad bolts of lightning tear open the veil of illusion,
I disappear into the blinding light.
Namaste

This is breathtaking, not just in imagery, but in energy. I can feel the tension in the air, the raw power of the storm building, and your surrender to something greater than yourself. There's something deeply primal and sacred in this one.
Rea, that is so beautiful
