Langebaan Lagoon
On the West coast of South Africa, Cape Town.
The Langebaan Lagoon is a large saltwater lagoon on the West Coast of South Africa, 100km North of Cape Town.
The lagoon is an intense turquoise color, only 6 metres deep at its deepest, and completely open to the sea. No river runs into it, making it one of only three lagoons worldwide not fed by fresh water.
A few people live on the lagoon in houseboats all year.
The day was cloudy, and the photos of this beautiful place don’t do it justice.
Namaste

The third one feels like a scene from a past, secluded dream.
Lovely view! For me, the only time I can be at the beach is when it's cloudy or slightly raining. I find the scenery to be majestic when it's a bit darker.
