It opened a whole new world of possibilies to me Joe. It taught me that one thought can cause an avalanche of agony, if I gave it that power over me. But I am the master of my own thoughts and emotions. I decide which thoughts deserve my attention and how I react to it. I am deeply emotional and I can't afford to let it dictate my life. Thank you for being here with me Joe.

Thank you for sharing this. Honestly, the way you described your experience with CBT really hit home. That shift from feeling like your thoughts are in control to realising you can actually guide them is huge. And I love how you said it didn’t take the pain away, but gave you a way to move through it without getting lost in it.

Grief and depression can feel so overwhelming, and it’s easy to think we’re stuck there forever. It’s really encouraging to hear how you found your way through, even when it felt impossible at first.

I’m so glad you got the support you needed and stuck with it. That part alone is such a victory
