Walk Me Home
We’re all just walking each other home. - Ram Dass
Life is taking the scenic route home Encountering fellow pilgrims on Similar journeys walking each other home Some of our companions will only join us For short periods of great magnitude Leaving profound scars on our souls Others will assist us with their lights When we lose our footing and stumble Through a maze of unimaginable obstacles There will be times of solitude When the road takes us through The raging fires in the pits of hell Moments of wonder and awe When we are left breathless By the magnificence and splendor Of this magical creation we call Earth A gift from the gods to explore And experience in all its glory We are walking each other home May we be compassionate and kind When we encounter fellow pilgrims

So beautiful Rea, as always 🥰
We're definitely all pilgrims. Great poem, Rea.
