All beings, whether universal or particular, were created perfect and complete from the beginning. The most one can say is that their perfections only become apparent gradually. The law of God is one; the evolution of existence is one; the divine order is one. All beings great and small are subject to one law and one order.

The poem poignantly diagnoses the human struggle with separateness. Abdu'l-Baha's words offer the healing balm of divine perspective: we are not flawed fragments striving for a distant wholeness. We are, right now, inherently perfect expressions of a unified, divine reality, gradually awakening to that truth. The "artistically crafted perfection" isn't just the pattern of the tapestry; it is the very essence of each thread from its inception.
