Your secret face
A Japanese proverb, your three faces.
According to a Japanese proverb, you have three different faces. One face you show the world. The second face you share with family and friends. The third face you never show anyone. It is the face that holds your most truest form. This face you only show yourself.
This place holds your weaknesses, your deepest fears, your hidden desires.
This is the place where your innermost thoughts reside.
This is where you struggle with your secrets, where your demons are fought.
This place is splattered with the blood you spilled in darkness.
This is where you break the chains that shackle you.
This place is your comfort, where you accept yourself with all your flaws.
This is where you heal and start becoming.
Here, you hold your heart in tenderness without guilt or blame.
Namaste

Beautiful. It sounded at first like the third face was the intuitive mind. Then it sounded like the subconscious
I didn't know about that proverb, but it makes complete sense to me. Begs the question: Who are we to ourselves? Thank you for this. Love, Virg
