I'm so sorry that your brother is struggling with alcohol. I do understand the frustration, and bitterness that can come from being treated as less than. Wishing you and your brother many years of loving communication. Love, Virginia

There is a spiritual influencer I follow on social media who goes by the name “blu of earth.” Blu stands for beauty love and unity. She and her brother both had a genetic mutation that caused the onset of hearing loss in their twenties. She speaks a lot about the trauma of losing her hearing and also the gifts. She says she can now hear the energy behind people’s words even though she can’t hear what is being said and it’s helped her tap more deeply into her intuition. Basically she can literally hear the vibration of authenticity versus the vibration of BS. I wonder if that’s something your brother may be able to tap into too? 🙏

That's amazing! He has never said anything about that. He has been deaf since birth and has no reference to sound.

It's hard for people with disabilities. Especially when many assume they are developmentally disabled. Having an invisible disability is particularly hard because people will say: you don't LOOK disabled. Society still has a ling

long way to go

Exactly Gabrielle! It must also at times make you feel invisible. Humankind needs a wake-up call!

It must be so frustrating for them. That was a beautiful thing you did for her. I commend you!
