As a writer, an artist, I'm riddled with self-doubt, and that's probably true for most of us. However, sometimes doubt masquerades as intuition. If I feel strongly about something or someone, I examine that feeling. Taking it out of the dark and shining a light on it so I can be sure. The way to resolve our own self-doubt? Bravely put your truth out there and see if it resonates with others, as you do so prolifically. :)
Doubt does knock on my door from time to time. I usually open it and tell him to go away. Then he gets on my nerves, and I really drive him away. Sometimes, you have to get a little mad to fight off the demons. Thank you for sharing, Rea.
Great piece, Rea! I've struggled with doubt, and self-worth, and agree they are connected. I still have my moments, but have a lot more faith and trust now.
I'd like to thank you again, Rea, for the quote and your beautiful thoughts... I'm going to include the Gilbran quote in my post next week - "Thriving Forward: Neuroplasticity, Growth, and the Garden of God."
Really nice piece, Rea! Sometimes, this sword is so big to carry that we forget we have the choice to leave it behind. I love your confidence in delivering the message! Appreciate for the kind slap! 🤍

I will look out for it, Marpy. It is a lovely quote. I love Gibran's work! Thank you.
So true, if nothing else it creates so much stress.
Perhaps we need to carry a shield more against the sword, honest support.
Mostly unfounded stress, Emma.

Stress is stress, unfounded or not. The body doesn’t know difference.
True that. 🙏
for me, the self-doubt struggle is real. thank you for this...
You have lots of talent, pen.
Oh Rea... the sword of doubt... It is a heavy one, in need of laying it down.
I know, Simona…

Oh my goodness yes! Leave it right there where it belongs. Thank you, Valle.
I believe we should allow them for a while, but not forever. We also need balance. Thank you for your heartfelt comment, Molly.
Exactly, Elizabeth! Thank you. ❤️
