Everything Needed To Be
Ask for forgiveness one more time, if you want.
“All happenings needed to be; accept that, my
dear. Ask for any forgiveness one more time
if you must,
ask for forgiveness one more time if you must,
then move on to your glory and sublime reign.”
― Hafez
Everything needed to be. Nothing that ever happens is a mistake.
We often blame ourselves long after our sins have turned to dust. Long after we’ve begged forgiveness. From ourselves, God, and the ones we have pained. It becomes a boulder we carry on our shoulders, bowing us down.
Accept what happened and the fact that we can’t change it. Accept that it needed to be. We can ask for forgiveness more than once, but we must eventually let it go.
We can’t become who we are destined to be if we hold on to the past in guilt. Allow the sins of the past to teach you its crucial lessons. Acknowledge its value in your becoming.
Then move on to your glory and sublime reign over your life. We change continuously, and we are not who we were in our past. It doesn’t define us, and our future is not beholden to it.
Break the bonds that are holding you back from your destiny and move on with your life. The new you must reign over your glorious life, not your past sins. All happenings needed to be. Accept it.

🙏🙏
This is such a gentle, yet powerful reminder. Thank you for sharing these words. It’s so easy to stay trapped in guilt or self-blame, replaying past mistakes endlessly—but as you wrote, everything that happened served a purpose in shaping who we are today. Accepting the past doesn’t mean excusing it; it means freeing ourselves to step fully into the life we are meant to live.
Your reflection encourages a compassionate pause, a deep breath, and the courage to release what no longer serves us. Moving on isn’t forgetting—it’s honoring growth, learning the lessons, and allowing our present and future selves to flourish.
Namaste. 🌿
