The Winds...
...long to play with your hair.
“And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair”
- Khalil Gibran
We get so caught up in the rat race that we forget we are created from the same cosmic dust as Mother Earth and the heavens above us.
The idea that the Earth wants to delight in our presence is awe-inspiring. Gibran was deeply in tune with the Universe and beyond, and an inspiring philosopher.
He noticed the yearning nature has to interact with us, to stop and feel her playfulness. The wind around your body, pulling at your clothes, inviting you to run barefoot and wild.
“For the breath of life is in the sunlight and the hand of life is in the wind.”
The ground longs to provide peace and tranquility to your overwrought soul. It will repay your presence with calmness.
“Nature reaches out to us with welcoming arms, and bids us to enjoy her beauty.”
The Universe created her beauty with tenderness and laid her bare for us to explore and delight in. She wants to be part of our daily existence. We will die without her.
“Trees are poems the earth writes upon the sky.”
Messages hidden amongst its branches and leaves, an ode to humankind. A never-ending poem of love. Lie down under its cooling shade and read the verses dedicated to your precious life.
Namaste

This is just so delightful to read. 💞 Nature never disappoints. I so wish I could just go walk barefoot among the trees. Autumn draws nigh and I love the crunch underfoot.
