Thoughts Create
Creation and destruction starts with a single thought.
All action results from thought, so it is thoughts that matter.
Sai Baba
Every action starts with a thought. Everything we see around us began with one idea that originated from thoughts. Someone had an idea and brought it to fruition. War starts with a thought, love starts growing with a thought.
Nothing can happen without someone thinking about it first. Life itself starts with a thought, followed by action. Being is thought. The art we create and the books we write start with our precious thoughts.
The soul becomes dyed with the colour of its thoughts.
― Marcus Aurelius
If your inner dialogue is tinged with the color of hatred, your actions will resonate with hatred. We can’t think hatred and act with love. Everything we do begins with our emotions, directly influenced by our thoughts. Life coaches always teach us to change the way we think, because it directs our emotions and ultimately our actions.
Meditation is the dissolution of thoughts in eternal awareness or pure consciousness without objectification. - Voltaire.
Meditation is the absence of thoughts. Depression can’t get hold of a mind devoid of thought. Where there is stillness, love forms. A quiet mind can fill the body with love. But uncontrolled notions create anxiety and negative actions. During this state of pure consciousness, we become more aware of divine love. Love begets love.
When I became aware that I needed to control my thoughts to control my emotions, my life drastically changed. My depression didn’t magically disappear overnight, but I realized that I allowed my thoughts to fuel its fire. One beautiful thought can ignite more beautiful thoughts, instead of the darkness. It took hard work and dedication because I didn’t want to live on the edge of death every single day of my life. Wondering if this will be the day I finally die. If this is the day I fall over the edge.

Such wise words Rea. I do my meditation ‘on the move’ when I’m walking my dog, stopping to really listen and look at nature. Never sure if it counts…but it does quiet my mind!
This has prompted me to go and meditate :)
