Thank you for this enthusiastic comment, Simona!! You make my heart sing. 💞💞

Why was this the last thing I read in the early hours?

‘Last thing’ as in before I slept, not last thing before being bumped off this mortal coil.

Whilst I enjoyed the read, thank you, I’ll be sleeping with the lights on for the time being…

Thank you, Cherales! It won't bother you. I promise. 😊

Wow Rea, this speaks to me in more ways than one! It took my breath away, made my laugh and had me nodding at the same time.

Brilliant!

Another reply gone. 🤔

What's going on with that…. Strange.

Yeah this happens to me all the time -- you replied to the poem itself at the top. On the mobile app if you click reply it will say "Replying to Simona" for example above the text.

BUT, you happen to click ANYWHERE else, and then come back, you are now Replying TO YOURSELF! It's very frustrating, but I see your comment to yourself above.

It drives me nuts, Josh. I'll remember not to move around. 😊

This was a bit daunting for me. The first thing that came to mind was narcissism. Perhaps it is because I am close to it? But really well written Rea.

That was my aim, Brenda. Thank you!

Damn I need time to read more of your work. It bring such inner acknowledgement with that nod, yes I know. 🌸

Dive in, Brenda! I hope you enjoy it. <3

Simple, elegant, full of implication … striking, moment to moment.

Thank you, Michael. I'm happy you enjoyed it!

Dear Rea, I think you captured precisely what I feel like when the depression is not under very good control, and it takes every fibre of my being to even attempt to be a good spouse, dad, worker, etc

"Fake it 'till you make it" works great until the toys owner loses interest, or the spring winds down.

On the other hand my rabbit absolutely loves her collection of wind-up, fluffy chicks. Go figure.

Rea de Miranda's avatar

Fake it till you make it. That's true, Mike.

Oh, nice Rea! Some fire in this one! I like it.

Rea de Miranda's avatar

You can read it on your show if you want, Josh. Get the listeners in another uproar. 😁

Oh wow, Rea. Reminds me of myself, many years ago before my divorce.

I am sure many of us have been here, Patty. Thank goodness we are free now.
