Having never been one of the "beautiful people" and having lived long enough to watch some people that were beautiful when young, and fought against the natural order with surgery, fillers, etc., only to ruin themselves. I've come to appreciate my aging face and body, my gray hair and my natural process as well as to appreciate the same natural beauty in others. We can be beautiful as Nature intended. It's all a matter of perspective. This was a wonderful piece Rea!
Yes, it seems like we are living in a time of little hope. We can only speak our message and pray that others hear. You have taken the first steps by putting the message out there. Keep writing about it. The earth has a way of accommodating radical change, with or without us on board.
This art and your words are like a modern-day Frida 🌷🪻📖👩🏻🎨🫶🏻
Oh Marpy! That's is the most wonderful compliment I've ever reveived. Thank you. 😍

“You hold a mirage in your hands
Of an illusion you created”
A wonderful line 👏
Thank you, Stephen. I'm glad you enjoyed my words.
Like this factual writing, humans with their natural changes, must be realized.
They fight a losing battle.
A lot of ugliness happens in the name of ‘beauty’ indeed. Good stuff, Rea!
Thank you, Luis. It is tragic.
A sense of tragic consequences…😢
That’s the sense I get from the world lately.
Me too 🙁
Very powerful and moving Rea. Your emotions come through loud and strong.
The futility, Stephanie.

You are right! We can create hope. Thank you, Stephanie.
We all go back to nature eventually. The mirage can't be held forever. Nice poem Rea.
Thank you, Josh. I agree, it will crumble eventually.
