Having never been one of the "beautiful people" and having lived long enough to watch some people that were beautiful when young, and fought against the natural order with surgery, fillers, etc., only to ruin themselves. I've come to appreciate my aging face and body, my gray hair and my natural process as well as to appreciate the same natural beauty in others. We can be beautiful as Nature intended. It's all a matter of perspective. This was a wonderful piece Rea!

A lot of ugliness happens in the name of ‘beauty’ indeed. Good stuff, Rea!

Yes, it seems like we are living in a time of little hope. We can only speak our message and pray that others hear. You have taken the first steps by putting the message out there. Keep writing about it. The earth has a way of accommodating radical change, with or without us on board.

We all go back to nature eventually. The mirage can't be held forever. Nice poem Rea.
